National Accounts Manager for an $850MM food/HBC company, responsible for the direct development and execution of sales plans for $600MM pet retail division of the company. Served as primary liaison between all field operations (sales force of 250) and corporate functions; including: marketing, science & technology, manufacturing, distribution, and information systems. Coordinates sales plans with promotional agencies and independent distributors. Implemented comprehensive trade marketing zone (4 zones). Created national account department by constructing strategic partnerships with Company’s top 10 retail chains, including: PETsMART, PETSTUFF, etc. Increased department’s sales from $32MM to $123.2MM. Promoted to Director, Sales Planning. Previously was employed by Colgate-Palmolive Co. as Regional Operations Manager and Key Account Manager. Candidate possesses an M.B.A. & a B.B.A. Marketing from Boise State University, 1984. Current compensation: $60K + 20% bonus + car. Willing to relocate for right opportunity.
